The wood was given to me by Mr. Wayne Elliott, the professional arborist who pruned the branch (with Park Service approval), and I have been hoarding these pieces for years. Ultimately, I decided they would make attractive pedestals for these 8" round aluminum prints of the iconic tree... and three have already been claimed by friends.
That leaves the five pictured here, which will each include a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity, and a soft microfiber cleaning cloth. If you'd like one of these unique artifacts, they're available for $199 each* (plus $15.50 for postage and 6% Pennsylvania sales tax).
These collectibles will be sold to the first 5 people who email us to claim (and pay for) them. You can use the contact form on this website or you can email us directly: [email protected]
* Multiple payment options available. Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail to addresses within the continental United States. Postage includes $50 insurance, and additional coverage can be purchased at customer's request. Sorry, but we do not offer international shipping at this time.
Each print includes a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity and a soft microfiber cleaning cloth.
This is Wayne Elliot, an arborist from Ontario who, along with his late wife, Donna, is largely responsible for this tree being so healthy and attractive:
This is Wayne's wife, Donna. She was my customer, then she was my friend... and then she was gone. A smart, funny, wonderful woman, and I miss her:
These are just a few of the dedicated volunteers who, year after year, travel to Gettysburg from far and wide, specifically to care for THIS tree and beautify the surrounding area. A debt of gratitude is owed to them all:
