Mason Dixon Photography is the work of Gettysburg-based photographer, digital editor and graphic designer Robert Belgrad, a portfolio that's broad in scope, with special emphasis on historical themes - battlefields and forts, reenactments and living history events, monuments, historical locations and custom portraiture.
MDP prints and posters are produced in the U.S.A., using only the highest quality materials and processes:
- Our prints are produced on Kodak Professional Supra Endura Gloss photo paper, a medium of superior clarity, color reproduction and durability - it is rated for 100+ years of longevity in typical household display! Unlike standard digital prints, where ink is simply applied to the paper's surface, this is a 'true photographic media' that is exposed with light and then developed in the classic silver halide process used by professional photo labs for decades. Each photo-print print is packaged in an archival-quality, re-usable clear polyethylene sleeve, with a 1/8" thick foam-core backer board, which protects the image from warping and which can be useful when framing it.
- Our posters are produced using ecologically-friendly vegetable and soy-based inks, and printed on heavy 100 lb. poster stock that contain up to 55% post-consumer recycled content, with the remaining content from sources that practice sustainable forestry. The posters are sized at 18" x 24" to fit into standard, pre-made poster frames, saving you the high cost of custom framing. Each one is individually inspected to be free from defects, hand rolled, placed in a clear sleeve and packaged in a heavy-duty mailing tube to protect it during shipping.
